By registering on this forum, you agree to use it properly, and to refrain from posting any content that is aggressive, offensive, defamatory, hateful, or in violation of applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to post messages inciting or evoking illegal practices, or violating the terms of use of the service.

The moderators and administrators of this forum will do their best to delete or edit any reprehensible messages that may be posted on the forum. You acknowledge that all messages posted on this forum express the opinion of their respective authors, and do not necessarily reflect the position of the moderators and administrators.

In order to ensure the moderation of this forum, any message violating the preceding provisions may be edited or deleted without notice by the moderators and administrators of the forum. Any abuse may also be sanctioned by banning or deleting the user account. We reserve the right to inform your access provider and/or the judicial authorities of any malicious behaviour.

Rules of Use 1. No Advertising No advertising is allowed on the forum, whether it is profit or non-profit. This includes advertising or solicitation, openly or directly, for any other sites or services. Discussion about other entities is of course, fine. 2. No usage of site content All content on this site is the property of LIScomm and is protected by U.S. Copyright Laws. Site content is not to be downloaded and redistributed or reproduced in any way without the written permission of the site owner. 3. No duplicate accounts (a.k.a. dupes or sockpuppets) Members can only have one member account at LIScomm. If you require a name-change, please contact Admina directly and state your need. A decision will be made on a case-by-case basis. Name changes will not be made after 90 days of creation barring serious circumstances. Violators will be banned. 4. No deliberately provocative, bullying, hostile, or trolling Behavior Flaming, insults, and personal attacks are not allowed anywhere on this forum. 6. No Fluff or Spam Nonsense posts that derail discussion, or just clog up the activity log will not be tolerated. Neither will spam, whether it is just repeated posting, or garbage links. 7. No Pornography Nudity may only be acceptable under very limited circumstances (i.e. art) in a relevant discussion. Otherwise, do not share pornographic material and do not link to it. 8. No Profanity We are not an age-restricted forum, we are a somewhat public one, so please refrain from using excessive profanity. I will not drop the banhammer on someone without warning for a well-timed "sh*t" or "Damnit!" This is a community that will likely be populated by adults, but expletives grittier than that cultivate an environment that is not in the spirit of this community. However, profanity will not be tolerated under any circumstances in repeating images and text, such as but not limited to, usernames, signatures, profile descriptions etc. 9. Do not type in ALL CAPS TYPING IN ALL CAPS!!! is the text equivalent of screaming and is very rude. Please do not do this. It has its place in a discussion for emphasis, but use this leeway very judiciously. 10. Harassment, sexual or otherwise There is zero tolerance for sexual harassment, or threatening or abusive behavior anywhere on this forum, including public and private messages regardless of race/sex/gender/religion/age/nationality/ethnicity of those involved. Please report anything like this to Admina immediately so it can be resolved quickly. 11. Copyright Violation Do not copy/paste full articles and content from other authors and websites without the permission of the content's owner. If such an event occurs, the individual posting the information shall be held solely responsible. LIScomm shall not be held responsible for member-posted information that may violate copyright law. You cannot legally post entire articles or news in the forum without permission from the copyright holder even with correct attribution. Consider Fair Use provisions when you share portions of someone else's work. If you are not sure if you can share something, then always err on the side of caution and simply post a link to the material. Always give credit for content to the best of your ability.
